Dear Infusion Solutions patients:
We hope that you are all well and staying healthy!
Although with the advent of social distancing, use of mask coverings and PPE incidence of COVID-19 is declining The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is recommending that healthcare facilities prioritize urgent/emergency visits and postpone routine office visits or offer telemedicine options. This is for your safety and to limit the spread of the coronavirus. If you have a routine follow up appointment without time sensitive on-site treatment, you may be offered a televisit appointment such as Healow through our patient portal or a phone visit. All scheduled infusions and injections will take place as scheduled unless you are ill or especially experiencing symptoms of Covid-19.
Every precaution will be taken to minimize your exposure risk to coronavirus. Please do not come to your appointment if you are experiencing fever, cough or shortness of breath. Specific questions about COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in Delaware may be directed to the Division of Public Health Call Center at 1-866-408-1899, Monday through Friday 8:30 – 4:30. Please call the Bayhealth hotline at 302-310-8477 if you are experiencing fever, shortness of breath or cough and if you meet screening criteria you will be directed to a screening location for testing. Please do not go to your doctor’s office, urgent care or ER without giving any notice in advance. As usual, if you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911.
Telemedicine appointments have been offered since 3/24/2020, and require a smart phone, tablet or computer with internet access. In the event of absolute technology difficulties, phone calls would be an alternative option.
At the time of a scheduled televisit, the patient will have 3 options of attending the visit—using Healow app on a smart phone, log into the patient portal of Infusion Solutions of DE, or click the link in the reminder email. It is essential that we have current email address and mobile phone number on file, and they are patient portal enabled for the last two options.
